Frequency of Scrotal Pathologies on Ultrasound Associated with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

Background: Men's lower urinary tract symptoms are frequently caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which is the non-cancerous expansion or of prostate tissue. In these patients, a accurate diagnosis testicular pathologies and avoidance infarction highest importance. Duration study: study was conducted from January 2022, till June 2022. Place Department Radiology, Sheikh Zayed medical college hospital Lahore, Pakistan Study design: A cross-sectional study. Objective: To find frequency scrotal on ultra sound in patients Methodology: cross sectional at (SZMC). SPSS version 21.0 used for data analysis. The inclusion criteria present considered enlargement gland men with age very common. Uncomfortable symptoms, such as bladder blockage, might be brought an enlarged gland. It may also result issues kidney, system bladder. exclusion were who had any history previous pathology uncooperative. Frequency calculated using ultrasound machine Mindray Z5 Toshiba Xario 100 linear probe 7.5-11MHz used. Results: current 159 visiting radiology department included. Out BPH, 37(23.3%) epididymal cysts, 24(15.1%) undescended testis, 18(11.3%) epidydmo-orchitis, 39(24.5%) epididmytis, 22(13.8%) microlithiasis, varicocele, 85(53.3%) hydrocele 32(20.1%) normal findings. no epididymitis mean value Prevoid 376 ml post void 49 volume grams. 377 48 46 grams respectively. Practical implication: This research informative community regarding urological complications especially about its complications. Conclusion: Our concluded that, most coming BPH pathologies.
